Who we are
URGNT is the data controller for the personal data you share with us through this application. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What data we collect
When you create an account and use URGNT, we collect: • Your name and email address • Your age, country, and sex assigned at birth • Your health profile: existing conditions and current medications you choose to share • Your navigation history: the symptoms you describe and the guidance you receive We do not collect more than we need, and you decide what health information to share.
Why we collect it
We use your data for one purpose: to provide health navigation services. Your profile lets us personalise the guidance — for example, adapting suggestions to your country's healthcare system or taking your existing conditions into account. URGNT is a health navigation and information service — not a diagnostic tool. We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it to third parties.
How your data is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and is encrypted at rest. Access is protected by row-level security, which means your data can only be read by your own authenticated account.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete your account. When you delete your account from the Settings page, your profile and your entire navigation history are permanently removed.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to: • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you • Rectification — correct inaccurate data at any time from the Settings page • Deletion — delete your account and all associated data • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
URGNT uses only essential cookies: authentication cookies that keep you signed in, and a preference cookie that remembers your theme choice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third-party services
We rely on two service providers to operate URGNT: • Supabase — authentication and encrypted data storage • Anthropic API — processes the symptom descriptions you type in order to generate navigation guidance. Conversations are sent securely from our servers and are not used to train AI models.
