What URGNT is — and what it is not
URGNT is a health navigation and information service. It helps you understand how urgent your symptoms may be, which type of healthcare professional to see, and how to prepare for your visit. URGNT is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, not a doctor, and not an emergency service. It does not provide medical diagnoses, medical advice, or treatment recommendations. URGNT uses clinical triage guidelines to help users understand the urgency of their symptoms and find appropriate care. Users are always responsible for their own medical decisions and must consult qualified healthcare professionals for diagnosis and treatment. If you are in immediate danger, call 112 or 911.
Who can use URGNT
Personal accounts are reserved for people aged 13 and over. Date of birth is required at signup to verify eligibility. Anyone under 13 cannot create a personal account. Children under 13 may only use URGNT through a child profile managed by a parent or legal guardian on a Family Plan. The parent is responsible for the profile, consents to data processing, the child has no login credentials, and the parent may delete the profile at any time. When a child profile turns 13, the parent may invite the young person to create their own account linked to the Family Plan. Migration is optional; family linkage can remain. If you are under 18, you should use URGNT with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Protection of minors
URGNT does not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13 through a personal account. Child health data is provided and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Parents can update, export, or delete child profiles at any time from their account.
Acceptable use
You agree to: • Use URGNT only for personal, non-commercial health navigation • Not attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service • Not use URGNT to generate harmful, misleading, or unlawful content • Not rely on URGNT as a substitute for professional medical care
Limitation of liability
URGNT provides guidance on a best-effort basis and makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of that guidance for your specific situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, URGNT is not responsible for any medical outcomes, decisions, costs, or damages arising from your use of the service. Healthcare decisions are always yours, made together with qualified professionals.
Intellectual property
The URGNT name, design, and software are the property of URGNT. You retain ownership of the information you submit. You may use the navigation results generated for you for personal purposes, including sharing them with your healthcare providers.
Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
